Abby Hemmer is completing the final year of her Doctor of Audiology degree through the University of North Texas. She graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Before moving to Kauai, Abby worked as Audiology Assistant for a large school district in Texas. Abby is passionate about advocating for hearing health for all ages. She utilizes evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat all types of hearing loss. She believes that proper auditory stimulation is imperative for maintaining brain health.In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their Yorkshire Terrier, Ollie.
