Amanda Seeley, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Amanda Seeley, Au.D., received her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the University at Buffalo. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in communication disorders with a minor in deaf studies from SUNY New Paltz. She is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, American Academy of Audiology, American Tinnitus Association, and Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

Dr. Seeley gained a wide array of clinical experiences in Buffalo, completing clinical rotations in private practices, ENT offices, cochlear implant facilities, and the VA system. She completed her 4th-year audiology externship at ENT & Allergy Associates, the largest ENT practice in the country, in a multitude of their NYC offices.  During her externship, she continued to build upon her clinical skills, specializing in amplification, tinnitus, and vestibular patients. She stayed on with ENT & Allergy Associates upon graduating.

Dr. Seeley moved to Maui with her fiancé in July 2020, and was working at Advanced Pacific as the sole audiologist for a multiple ENT and PA practice, until leaving to join the Island Audiology team in November of 2022.

Dr. Seeley is driven to help all of her patients hear to the best of their ability by combining research-based evidence, clinical experience, and most importantly, her patients’ own unique needs. When she is not in the clinic, you can find her snorkeling, hiking, practicing yoga, catching a sunset, or enjoying her time with her fiancé, Ryan, and their cat, Nutmeg.

“Being an audiologist brings me joy and gives me purpose in life. It is not just the exchange I have in my office with my patients, not only the adjustments made to the hearing aid or counseling provided during the appointment, but knowing that their lives have been positively affected by my audiological services. This is why I do what I do.”
