Raised in Chicago, Yadira graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Biology from Northeastern Illinois University. She is currently earning her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She enjoys audiology because it gives her the opportunity to build rapport and long-term professional relationships with patients. Her goal is to raise awareness about the importance of hearing health by connecting with patients and providing them with the necessary tools. During her free time, Yadira enjoys watching soccer games and capturing beautiful Kauai views.
